Eligibility and acceptable use

You must be legally able to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction to make a purchase. You may use the store only for lawful, personal, or legitimate business purposes. You may not interfere with security, scrape or overload the service, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, or use store content to mislead others.

Products, condition, and historical material

Many products are vintage, previously owned, handmade, or one of one. Normal variation, patina, wear, repairs, and manufacturing irregularities may be present and are not necessarily defects. We aim to provide accurate photographs, measurements, markings, materials, estimated eras, and condition notes. Color and scale can vary by screen.

Historical descriptions and estimated dates reflect available information and good-faith judgment unless a listing expressly includes third-party certification. Militaria and historical objects are offered for collecting and educational interest; their sale does not express endorsement of any ideology represented by an artifact.

Pricing, inventory, and orders

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Taxes, shipping, and other charges are displayed before payment when applicable. Placing an order is an offer to purchase, not our acceptance. We may cancel or limit an order for inventory error, pricing error, suspected fraud, shipping restriction, or other legitimate reason. If payment was captured for a canceled order, we will refund it.

One-of-one items may become unavailable while checkout is in progress. Ownership is not reserved until payment succeeds and the order is accepted.

Payment

Checkout is processed by Stripe. You represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and authorize the total shown at checkout. Payment-provider terms may also apply.

Shipping, returns, and refunds

Our Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy are incorporated into these terms. Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed. Nothing in these terms limits a non-waivable consumer right.

Intellectual property

The ArticleOne name, branding, site design, copy, original photography, graphics, and software are owned by ArticleOne or used with permission and are protected by applicable law. You may view and use the store for shopping, but may not reproduce, publish, sell, or commercially exploit this material without written permission.

Third-party services and links

The store relies on third-party services and may link to other websites. We do not control their availability, content, or privacy practices. Use of a third-party service may be governed by its separate terms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties except those that cannot legally be excluded. ArticleOne will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the store. To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability relating to a purchase will not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify ArticleOne from third-party claims resulting from your unlawful misuse of the store or violation of these terms. This provision does not apply where prohibited by consumer law.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable where ArticleOne is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, while preserving any mandatory protections available where you reside. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear unresolved disputes.

Changes, severability, and contact

We may update these terms prospectively by posting a revised version. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. These terms and incorporated policies form the agreement concerning use of the store. Questions may be sent to support@articleone.co.
