Protect the surface
Use clean hands and hold cards by the edges. Place valuable raw cards in archival-quality sleeves before inserting them into rigid holders or binder pages. Never force a card into a tight holder.
Store upright and stable
Keep cards in a cool, dry, dark environment away from direct sunlight, water, pests, and rapid humidity changes. Support boxes so cards remain upright without being crushed.
Special care for stickers
Do not peel collectible sticker cards. Note lifted corners, gum or wax staining, surface impressions, and adhesive failure. Keep an inventory with set, number, variation, and storage location.
Collector reference only. Verify grading, attribution, authenticity, and current values with qualified specialists before buying or selling.
